The Regional Chamber of Commerce of the South Banat Administrative District, one of the partners in the project “Eco Tamiš (Timiš) – a new tourist product”, presented the project to visitors during the 15th Regional Economic Fair held from September 29 to 30, 2022 in Nova Pazova.
The project “Eco Tamiş – a new tourist product”, implemented as part of the cross-border cooperation program “INTERREG IPA CBC Romania – Serbia” and financed by the European Union as part of the instrument for pre-accession assistance (IPA II) and co-financed by the countries participating in the program, is presented was presented to the visitors of the economy fair at the joint stand of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce by representatives of the RPK of the South Banat administrative district.
Through the promotional material, visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the potential of eco-tourism in the valley of the river Tamis, which flows through Romania and Serbia, where it flows into the Danube in Pancevo. In addition to walking and resting in places along the Tamis, visitors can ride bicycles, row, watch birds, engage in sport fishing and other tourist or cultural activities in numerous, organized and unorganized places of untouched nature along the nearly 400 km long Tamis river. Fishing enthusiasts showed great interest.
