The project “Eco Tamiš (Timiš) – a new tourist product” will be presented at the stand of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia – RCCI South Banat Administrative District during the 25th international fair of economy, crafts and agriculture VIROEXPO, which will be held from September 2 to 4, 2022 in Virovitica, Croatia.
During the VIROEXPO fair, at the joint stand of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia – RCCIs of the North Banat and South Banat administrative districts, representatives of the RCCI of the South Banat administrative district will present the Project “Eco Tamiš – a new tourist product” which was realized within the cross-border cooperation program “INTERREG IPA CBC Romania – Serbia” and which was financed by the European Union within the instrument for pre-accession assistance (IPA II) and co-financed by the countries participating in the program.
Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the potential of eco-tourism in the Tamis river valley in Romania and Serbia through promotional material and the screening of the film, and will have the opportunity to choose a solution tailored to their needs to enjoy all ecological tourism opportunities – hiking, cycling, canoeing, bird watching or sport fishing.
During the fair, representatives of the RPK of the South Banat administrative district and the Virovitica County Chamber, which is the organizer of the fair, will also hold meetings where they will exchange experiences gained during the implementation of projects, which can be used and applied in cooperation in the preparation and implementation of joint projects within the Interreg IPA CBC of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program of Croatia and Serbia and connecting with similar projects implemented in the Cross-Border Cooperation Programs of the countries participating in the program from the surrounding area (Hungary, BiH, Romania, Bulgaria, etc.).
