Training in Pancevo to promote the development of local micro-companies

As part of the planned activities within the project “Eco-Tamis new tourism product”, which is financed from the EU – INTERREG IPA, in the period from 25 – 27 April 2018 held another training to promote the development of local micro-enterprises. The training was held at UC “Hedonist” in Pancevo and was intended for representatives of local micro-enterprises and shops. This was an opportunity for training participants to gain new skills and improve existing ones, as well as to get to know a new regional tourist product Eco Tamis.

The training was divided into three one-day sessions. The first day the focus was on market research and determining the target group, while the second day of training focusing on practical aspects, including the promotion and especially focusing on online marketing. The third day was a summation that connects learned techniques and tools to specific tourist product Eco Tamis.

      

This training has provided a detailed overview and practical business skills and exercises to improve the promotional and other business tools to improve business in the tourism industry, or any other job that requires working with people. During the three-day training, participants had the opportunity to create awareness of the importance of market research and identifying target groups, to better understand the concepts of different tools and techniques to build skills and learn the techniques of effective promotion to understand the needs of tourists and SATISFACTION- met with potential and limitations of online marketing. The training is based on international best practices and a wide range of expert knowledge in this field. The training was interactive, with exercises and examples from real life. The trainers were experienced experts in the field of tourism marketing who know well what kind of positive change can bring work in this area. Participants of the training were from the territory of Pancevo and other cities in the region. Upon completion of training, all participants were awarded special certificates upon them by the Director of the PKS-CTR South Banat administrative district Dr Marko Ćulibrk.
